I, Chihuahua is an upcoming American animated film directed by Jorge Gutiérrez from a script he co-wrote with Doug Langdale and Candie Kelty Langdale. The film stars Gabriel Iglesias as Chacho, a chihuahua who becomes a luchador, and it is being produced for Netflix.
Premise
Chacho is a chihuahua who becomes "Luchacho" when putting on a Lucha Libre mask after discovering his home is in danger. Luchacho enters a fight tournament against other animal fighters around the world to save his home.

I, Chihuahua was first announced in March 2022 as a film from Netflix Animation with Jorge Gutiérrez set to direct a script he co-wrote with Doug Langdale and Candie Kelty Langdale. Gabriel Iglesias and Tim Yoon were producing the film for Iglesias to star in.[1]
