This is a shortened version of the fifteenth chapter of the ICD-10: Pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium. It covers ICD codes O00.0 to O99.8. Chapter XV of ICD-10 deals with conditions occurring during pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium, more commonly known as the postpartum period. Examples of conditions captured using codes from Chapter XV include miscarriage, gestational diabetes, multiple gestation, and obstetric death.
