Phạm Ngọc Huy (born June 1, 1996), known professionally as ICD, is a Vietnamese rapper. He was born and raised in Hai Phong, Vietnam. ICD is one of Vietnam's greatest lyricists in hip hop. His song "Họ Trông Chờ Gì Ở Tôi" is considered Vietnam's greatest hip hop song of all time.
Early life and Career
- Pham Ngoc Huy was born on June 1, 1996 in Hai Phong. ICD based the meaning of his birthday to give the stage name, those are the first 3 letters of International Children's Day.
- ICD attended Haiphong Maritime High School and then Vietnam Maritime University.
- He is a member of the hip hop group 7LĐ (an initialism for 7 Lồng Đèn).
- ICD is one of Vietnam's greatest lyricists in hip hop of all time.
- He is best known for participating in and winning the King of Rap contest 2020.
- In 2021, ICD received a nomination for "New Artist of the Year" at the 16th Cống Hiến Awards.
- In the studio album "We Want ICD" released in 2019, his song "Họ Trông Chờ Gì Ở Tôi" ("What Do They Expect From Me") is considered Vietnam's greatest hip hop song.
