Ian Bonar is a British actor, most famous for playing the role of Dave Wiltshire in the BBC television series Hotel Babylon. He trained at The Bristol Old Vic and has also appeared in New Tricks. He appeared in the second series of the BBC comedy series Green Green Grass (in the episode "Here's to you, Mrs Boyce", appearing as Simon) and in the film Starter for Ten, playing Colin.
In August 2007 he appeared in the stage version of Ma vie en rose, at the Young Vic.
He co-starred as Stanley Howler in the May 2010 adaptation of Terry Pratchett's Going Postal, and appeared as Henry Williams in the 2016 BBC series New Blood.
