Ian Worthington (born May 17, 1996), also known by his Internet pseudonym Worthikids, is an American animator, musician, voice actor, and YouTuber. He is known for his Blender animated shorts and musical works, mainly his series Bigtop Burger and retro style one-off animations, such as Free Apple[1] and Captain Yajima.[1]
In June 2020, Worthington began releasing Bigtop Burger, an ongoing animated series about a group of clowns who run a food truck. Worthington produces the musical soundtrack of the series and uses a hybrid style of 2D and 3D animation using the open-source graphics software Blender.[2]
Worthington began creating animations in the retro style of Rankin/Bass Productions’ stop-motion films, using the style for the works Dried Up Old Bones, Hatbox Troubles, and Captain Yajima.[3] The animated short Free Apple features the voices of the McElroy brothers and mimics the style of point-and-click adventure games such as King's Quest.[1]
