After the success of the 2013 Tamil film Endrendrum Punnagai, I. Mueenuddin Ahmed and Udhayanidhi Stalin got collaborate for a new film. When reports of their collaboration emerged in early 2014, neither of them confirmed about the film. But later, I. Mueenuddin Ahmed in many interviews to the media during the theatrical run of Endrendrum Punnagai in February 2014, said that he is doing his new film with Udhayanidhi Stalin as the lead as well producer. He also added that the film would have the friendship and love elements.

Filming[edit]

It wis reported that filming will commence in early November in the exotic locations like Ooty, Pondicherry, Bangalore, Agra, Punjab, Mohali and later on in U.S.A.
