Iga Węglińska (born 1986) is a Polish multidisciplinary designer and researcher specialized in wearable technology and human-garment interactions. Her works has been published in Vogue Italia, Dezeen, DESIGNBOOM, WGSN, Fast Company, I-D, Numéro Netherlands, Elle Poland.

Career[edit]

Iga Węglińska established her design own studio (Iga Węglińska studio) in 2014. Her work is focused in R&D projects in the fields of wearable technology, smart materials and industrial design.

Iga Węglińska defended her Ph.D with distinctions in 2021 at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. She works as an Assistant professor and a researcher at the Faculty of Design Academy of Art in Szczecin where she leads the Fashion Design Studio at BA and MA studies. She is also an guest lecturer at School of Form SWPS University in Warsaw.
