Igud HaKohanim (The Association Of The Jewish Priesthood) is a national priesthood organization with an emphasis on the Jewish Priesthood, with over 300 members across the American continent.

Founding

Founded in 2015, it counts kohanim rabbis as its members. The organization obtained non-profit status in March 2015 from the Internal Revenue Service[1] and functions as a licensed charitable organization in the State of New York.[2]

Leadership and members

The organization counts with an active Kashrut division overseeing matters of interest to the Jewish priesthood - such as the priestly gifts of gifting Challah to the kohen,[3] Foreleg, cheeks and maw,[4] and is active in the United States and Israel.

In line with the organization’s vision, the Igud publicizes kehuna-themed publications, audiobooks, and various Judaica objects; Custom-issued Pidyon HaBen Certificates, genuine sterling silver trumpets, and has obtained a US patent for "The Challah Cup" - a precise measuring utensil for the minimal size required for the Mitzvah of gifting Challah to the kohen.
