Plot[edit]

The film title means "The Emotional Upsurge" which is about a teen servant maid, Amminikutty who fantasizes about her employer's son Unni who works in Ranchi in another state, Bihar. She was employed after he left and has never met him but she likes his photos and the family talk about him. He comes down to his Kerala home on his first vacation leave from work. She develops a crush on him. Amminikutty's fantasies and varying emotions of a lovestruck teenager make the plot of this film.
