Iman Gadzhi is a British Youtuber, podcaster, actor and entrepreneur.[2]

Background and early life[edit]

Gadzhi was born in Dagestanskiye Ogni, Russia.[3] His mother separated from his step father when he was fourteen.[4] He dropped out of school at age seventeen following his decision to pursue digital entrepreneurship.[5]

Career[edit]

He started his career in 2014.[2] He began as a social media manager for a local team, delving into content creation and social media marketing.[6][7] In 2015, he launched his Youtube channel, amassing a total of over 3 million subscribers since then.[5][8] On tiktok, his video clip started the "monk mode" trend.[9] By May 2023, the trend had gained over 70 million views on videos using the hashtag.[10] One of the participants of the trend includes the CEO of Bloc Hotels, Josh Wood.[11]

He is also the CEO of digital marketing agency IAG media[2] and the education company, Grow Your Agency.[6] He started the software company AgenciFlow, and is the founder of Gents Croquet Club.[12] The latter being an NFT collection.[12] In 2019, he established the fashion brand Gadzhi.[citation needed]

As a reality television personality, he was featured in the World's Greatest Social Stars, Top 25! alongside MrBeast, Patrick Bet-David, Dan Bilzerian, Charli D'Amelio, Dixie D'Amelio, Gervonta Davis, Stephen Deleonardis, amongst others.[13] He also featured in Kings Of The Internet series, which also included Jake Paul, Andrew Tate, Logan Paul, and more.[14][15]

Philanthropy[edit]

Gadzhi made contributions to education in Nepal, building five schools and providing opportunities for about 2,500 children in disadvantaged areas in a philanthropic initiative collaboration with Pahar Trust Nepal.[2] The name of the initiative was the Agency Incubator Gives Back.[16]

Personal life[edit]

He owns houses in Cape Town and Dubai.[17][18] He says South Africa is one of the more affordable places to live in.[19]
