Imarticus Learning, a professional education firm, provides learning programs in Financial Services, Business Analytics, and Change Management. The edtech firm offers over 20 programs through offline and online delivery channels, while its B2B segment provides corporate training, train-and-hire mandates, and management development.

History

In 2012, Imarticus Learning was founded by Nikhil Barshikar[1] in Mumbai. It began as an investment banking training institute and later expanded to include Analytics courses. In 2012, the company also established a presence in Bangalore, followed by Chennai, Delhi, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, and Pune. In 2015, after nearly three years of offering offline courses, the company went online.[2] In 2016, Prodegree programs were launched, with partnerships by EY, Genpact, HDFC Bank, and Motilal Oswal.[3] In March 2016, the company raised $1 million from a group of investors[4][5], including VC fund Blinc Advisors.

In September 2017, Imarticus partnered with Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX) to introduce a new online program, the Global Markets Prodegree.[6][7]

In January 2018, Imarticus launched a Fintech Prodegree in partnership with Rise Mumbai (Barclays), and in April 2018, a Machine Learning Prodegree with IBM. It also expanded its Mumbai presence with a campus in Thane.

In June 2018, Imarticus launched its international business, establishing presences in Manila and Dubai. By 2018, Imarticus had trained over 30,000 students and partnered with over 450 companies.

Imarticus is a Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) and International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) accredited training provider. Imarticus also has alliances with National Stock Exchange, MCX (Metal and Energy Trade with Trust), and NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) in India.
