Immortal is the upcoming sixth studio album by American rapper Wild Wes. It is set to be released on June 19th, 2020, by Icy Records.
Background
Immortal was started after the Resurrection project was changed to a mixtape. Wild Wes confirmed on Twitter on April 29th, 2020, that Immortal is the continuation of Resurrection. Wild Wes also stated that a few tracks from Resurrection would appear on the album. After Tracks For Da Ages, Wild Wes considered retiring from music, but in March, he decided to address the beef and released New Ice to end the Flex Entertainment feud. The HM&S Wiki ban is still in effect as of April 29th, 2020.
After finishing Resurrection, Wild Wes wasn't entirely satisfied with the project. He included a few tracks from the mixtape, but not many.
Singles
On March 16th, 2020, New Ice was released. The track was intended to resolve the Flex Entertainment beef. Racks On Me was released on March 27th, 2020. Then, Chasin' Bucks, the lead single, was released on May 1st, 2020. Before the release of Chasin' Bucks, Wild Wes shared a snippet of the track along with "Run It Back" from the Resurrection mixtape, which did not make the final album.
