Imohimi Unuigbe (born Imohimi Olugbenga Unuigbe May 21, 2001 in Atlantic City)[1] is a Nigerian-American artist.[2] Unuigbe had originally sang as a music-oriented YouTuber (Mainly covers), and decided to do a serious release after encouragement from fans. In 2016, he released his single, "Behind the Show" on SoundCloud and it had amassed over 1,000,000 streams within the first week.[3]
With new-found attention, Unuigbe was noticed by several labels who were willing to .[4] However, Unuigbe declined because he wanted to finish with education. He said, "I want to finish up with school before I decide to do music full time."
Despite being an independent artist, Unuigbe continues to release music.
Aside from music, Unuigbe has a YouTube channel, "Imohimi Unuigbe" where he uploads miscellaneous content including: Skits, Vlogs, Sit-downs as well as music.
In January of 2019, Unuigbe sang with ,Christian artist, Lauren Daigle, at Carnegie Hall alongside an over 200-person choir.
