Impel Travels, an online travel agency company based in Ghana, provides both local and international travel solutions for customers. Impel Travels has operations in Nigeria and Ghana, a presence in Dubai, London, and is expanding to Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. Though the company started in 2024, full operations began for Impel Travels during the 2024 elections in Ghana.
History
Impel Travels was founded in February 2024 by Ghanaian blogger Frank Oteng. In the same year, Impel Travels CEO established an online music streaming media platform company, Lyrefy.com, to support African music. In mid-2024, Impel Travels launched “Mobile App”, which allows customers to pay for any of the company’s products very fast and easily. In December 2024, Impel Travels announced the creation of Destination Africa, a television documentary that highlights the top 21 countries in Africa.
