On 8 June 2022, a United States Marine Corps V-22 Osprey aircraft crashed in Glamis, California, United States. killing five U.S. marines.[2][1] The aircraft belonged to the Marine Aircraft Group 39 of the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing.[3][1] The MV-22B Osprey crashed in Imperial County close to Highway 78 and the town of Glamis.
