InTouch Messenger is a cross-platform instant messaging service for smartphones that uses the internet for communication. The intent of the application is to enable user location sharing over XMPP.
InTouch raised its first round of funding from Blue Startups in October 2014[citation needed] and was launched on December 12th, 2014.[citation needed]
History[edit]
InTouch was part of the fourth cohort of Blue Startups in Hawaii.[3] The majority of the marketing, user research and customer demographics are from Hawaii.[citation needed]

Licensing[edit]
InTouch Messenger is closed-source freeware. The company plans to open source its XMPP client as well as their customized XMPP server under the GPLv3 licence.[citation needed]
