In Plainview is a 2018 Canadian crime thriller film directed by Matt Watterworth, written by Kevin Doree and starring Aaron Douglas, Shaun Johnston and Jesse Lipscombe.
Douglas stars as Penner, a former dirty cop recently out of prison who, along with a hired gun played by Lipscombe, hunts down the ex-partner, Rand (Stafford Perry), who sold him out. Rand's former flame, Wynter (Chantal Perron), and local minister, Reverend Rickman (Johnston), are among the obstacles that stand in Penner's way.
The film received eight Rosie Award nominations in 2018[1], and was released in North America on January 29, 2021,[2] streaming online via Amazon Prime and iTunes. It is also available to stream in South America (Google Play), Europe and Russia (Okko).
