InboxDollars is an online marketing company and rewards program that offers its users an online rewards program for their online activities, such as watching videos, using coupons, and taking surveys.[1][2][3]
InboxDollars makes revenue from advertisers, which pay to have their ads shown to consumers on the site; the revenue is then split between InboxDollars and its members, who can withdraw the money earned after reaching certain thresholds.[4][5] InboxDollars is available to users in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.[6]
History
The site was launched in 2000 by Daren Cotter, then a student at Minnesota State University, Mankato, the first website for his company CotterWeb Enterprises.[3]
As of 2016, InboxDollars was based in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, with Cotter still serving as CEO. That same year, the site generated over $25 million in annual revenue.[2][6]
In May 2019, CotterWeb was acquired by Prodege.[6]
