IndeJuice Limited[2] is a British e-commerce online marketplace that specialises in consumer vaping products. The company is known for connecting consumers with reputable independent businesses[3] rather than supporting big tobacco. The company owns the proprietary 'Prime' certification process[4] that certifies legal compliance and adherence to safety standards of consumer electronic cigarette products. As of 2 September 2020, IndeJuice has the largest collection of vape juices available through any direct-to-consumer channel in the world.[5] In 2017, the company was also featured on CNET for the invention of the Nicotine Shot Calculator,[6] a tool that is relied on by millions of electronic cigarette users in the UK and European consumer transition to regulated products under the Tobacco Products Directive. In 2019, IndeJuice was also recognised as one of the top five most trusted vape companies for eJuice.[7]
Regulated activities
As of 31 December 2020, IndeJuice remains the only company in the global vape industry to be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority[8] and supervised by HM Revenue and Customs[9] to prevent online money laundering. This allows the company to operate its marketplace business model by receiving payments from customers and then distributing revenue to sellers minus the company's fee for fulfilling the orders as the intermediary third-party logistics provider. IndeJuice fulfilment houses are also registered with HM Revenue and Customs under the Fulfilment House Due Diligence Scheme[10] allowing it to also act as a third-party fulfilment centre for sellers located outside the United Kingdom.
IndeJuice is also registered with the Government of the United Kingdom permitting it to engage in cross-border distance sales of e-cigarettes and tobacco products.[11]
