Independent Films is a Dutch film distributor founded in 2000 by Marc Punt.
History
Independent Films was founded by Marc Punt after the theatrical unit of Universal Pictures Benelux closed.
in 2022, Belga Films, who had 50% stake in the company,[1]
Distribution
Before 2007, The company's home media releases were handled by Universal Pictures Benelux. Universal also received studio and billing credit on some of the Dutch films they released. In 2007, The company signed a distribution deal with Warner Home Video.[2]
