The Independent Retail Pharmacy Association (IRPA) is a trade association serving the independent retail industry. Its members include manufacturers, distributors, and buying groups who service the pharmacy industry.[3] Their largest membership base is from North America but they represent the industry internationally as well. IPRA traces its history to 1911 when the National Retail Federation (NRF) was founded to promote retail safety and represent the industry to United States Government.
