The India A cricket team toured New Zealand from January to February to play two First-class and three List-A matches.[1] Ahead of New Zealand series, BCCI sent India A cricket team to New Zealand for warm-up matches (First-class and List-A matches).[2][3] New Zealand A won the unofficial ODI series 2–1, after losing the opening match by five wickets.[4] The unofficial Test series ended with draw.
