Ine Back Iversen is a Norwegian television personality, journalist, actress and model. She is best known for hosting on MTV Norway as well as being an ambassador for the online streaming service MTV Play.[1]

Iversen is also the main Norwegian correspondent and red carpet reporter for the network TV2 that are based in Los Angeles, and has since 2012 produced and hosted weekly segments and live updates for shows like 'God kveld Norge, The TV2 News channel and 'God Morgen Norge.[2][3]

Personal life and Career path[edit]

Ine Back Iversen grew up on the countryside of Norway before she moved to the City Trondheim where she studied Media production at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2007 to 2009. This is also where she started her hosting career as a main host for the weekly show, created for and by students, Student Magasinet.

Fall of 2009, after three rounds of auditions, she was accepted as an acting student at the critically acclaimed Nordic Institute of Stage and studio where she ended up graduating in 2011 as the first student in history to receive the schools very first honorary award in acting.[4][5]

Television[edit]

In 2010 Ine started working in TV2, where she began her career as a reporter for the Norwegian celebrity and entertainment program God kveld, Norge!

In 2012 she became the first correspondent for the network to be placed in Los Angeles as an entertainment reporter with weekly segments, red carpet interviews and live coverage from award shows like the academy awards, Golden Globes and The emmys.[6][7][8]

She has made headlines for her controversial interviews like being spanked by the famous actor Demián Bichir,[9] and being hugged by both Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd during a press junket.[10]

Ine became the host and ambassador for MTV Norway and MTV Play in 2017 where she presents the latest news in entertainment and host from the red carpet of the MTV Video Music Awards and MTV Movie and TV Awards.[11][12]

Radio[edit]

Ine started her media career on the as a host and studio producer on the Norwegian radio channel Radio Prime.

In 2018 she became the voice of Hollywood on NRK P3 in the show "Norske tilstaner" where she weekly entertained the Norwegian listeners with the latest trends and topics from the entertainment industry.[13]

Acting and modeling[edit]

Ine Iversen said in an interview by VGTV that she had always known she wanted to be in the entertainment industry and pursue acting, but that modeling was something she had never even considered doing. However, after moving to Los Angeles and gaining international fame the interest for her grew in the industry and she quickly became a busy fashion, beauty and editorial model.[14]

Ine walked the catwalk during Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW) in 2018 for ShaLaJá Swimwear.

She appears in the music video «Never Wanna Lose You av» CLMD feat. Justine Skye & Jesper Jenset, and also in «Om alt går til helvete» by the Norwegian artist Petter «Katastrofe» Kristiansen[15]
