Inese Kucinska-Lauksteine (Born 22 June, 1969) is an Latvian actress. She lives in Liepaja, Latvia and works in Liepaja Theater since 1993.[1] Inese was born in Liepaja and grew up in Velnciems, a neighbourhood in Liepaja.[2] She graduated the fourth studio of Liepaja`s theatre.[3]

Awards and nominations[edit]

  • has been nominated for "Lead Actress" in "Player`s Night"(Spēlmaņu nakts) 11 times, she has won the title twice.[4]
  • has been nominated "Best supporting actress" 5 times.[5]
  • has won the "Lilita Berzina" prize for excellent performance (Lilitas Bērziņas balva)[6]
  • won the “Liepaja`s woman of the year” in 2010. and 2011.(Gada Liepājniece)[7]
  • won Latvian actor association prize “The Fool`s Hat” in 2006.(Āksta Cepure)[8]

Personal life[edit]

Married director Herberts Lauksteins in 1992.[9] She has four children.
