Inovenso Ltd. Co is an electrospinning company and supplier of industrial-level and laboratory-scale nanofiber production machines, with years of research and development (R&D) since 2007. It is based in Turkey, founded in Istanbul Technical University.

History and operations[edit]

The Nano Fiber Membrane Group (NanoFMG) manufactured the first lab-scale electrospinning unit in Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in 2007. In 2008 and 2009, they manufactured the first industrial scale electrospinning machine and launched nanofiber membrane-based products for filtration and performance textiles.

NanoFMG established Inovenso Co. for nanofiber and nanofiber machine manufacturing in ITU Technology Development Center in 2010. In 2011, they sold and installed the first industrial-scale electrospinning machine Nanospinner416 in the Membrane Research Center in Istanbul. In 2014, Inovenso Co. attended and sponsored the 3rd International Conference on Electrospinning at San Francisco, California.[1]

Products and research[edit]

INOVENSO's R&D and manufacturing has two areas of coverage: industrial nanofiber production machines and laboratory-scale nanofiber production equipment[2] based on electrospinning process.

They also provide spin coating and robocasting or direct ink writing equipment.[3]

Aside from ongoing research projects in the nanofiber field with various academicians and scientists like Dr. Ali Demir,[4] one of the fathers of nanofiber and electrospinning in Turkey, Inovenso has also partnered with Università di Bologna[5] and several companies for the Nefele aircraft water filtration project.[6]
