Inspire Taekwondo Ltd is a Martial Arts company based in Nottinghamshire, UK were it's aim is to 'Inspire' Taekwondo to others in the community. By taking part in Taekwondo it isn't just about learning fancy moves, it's learning about the history and the reasoning behind everything. While only 5% of all students of Taekwondo actually make it to becoming a Black Belt, it is a very long and exciting journey for everyone involved.
Private Tuition[edit]
Inspire Taekondo's 'Private Tuition' was launched in mid 2019 to increase the amount of learning one can have. Private Tuition was announced that it would consist of one on one teaching.
History[edit]
2018: Inspire Taekwondo App[edit]
During 2018, Inspire Taekwondo experienced a large number of individuals wanting to take part in the extreme sport. Ranging from 30-40 members, Inspire grew to having on average 50 members. In June-July, plans for an official Taekwondo Theory app were published to ShuttleX[2]. The plans were later developed into a very simple but effective Theory learning app. The Taekwondo Theory app wasn't build for looks and appearance, but to be an effective learning tool for students.
2019: Growth in Numbers[edit]
Early in 2019, the Inspire Taekwondo app is doing well on the Google Play Store and had received a fair few amount of 5 star ratings from users. Inspire Taekwondo has had an increase in members from 50 now around 60+ and is still growing. Further on in February, Inspire Taekwondo released a statement to Heart of England Taekwondo that it's Junior Classes were re-opening. After a few short weeks, the Junior classes were a huge success with numbers averaging around 10 members in total.
Achievements[edit]
- Both Simon Scales and Jim Davis have achieved European Championship medals.
- Inspire Taekwondo is said to be the largest Taekwondo club in the UK.
- Inspire Taekwondo hoodies were published and released in 2019.
