Syed Taha Bukhari (Urdu:سيٌد طٰحٰا بخارى) is an International (year 2019) Taekwondo practitioner from Jammu and Kashmir.[1] He hails from the Narbal (town) of the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. He has been playing for 20 years. In these twenty years he has achieved over fifty-six (56) medals, of which forty (40) are gold, twelve (12) are silver and four (4) are bronze.[2]

Career

His journey started at the age of 3 years, and he is coached by "Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari", who believed that Taha would shine bright in the Taekwondo world.[3] Then Taha participated in the International tournament of India Open G1 Olympic Ranking Championship (year 2019), which was held in Gachibowli Stadium Hyderabad.[4] He is also coached by another person, "Atul Pangotra" in the club Atul International Taekwondo Academy.

He played his first national level Championship, the "Sub Junior National Championship" in 2005 and became the youngest athlete.[1]
