Instaspes Inc..[1]is the online directory or social networking services or social networking site based in Nepal on which user can post,upload images, videos and go live and know what other users are listening on live. The site requires registration to upload, post and follow other friends or user but unregistered users can also watch, share, and view other family friends profile. It offers local and regional content of Nepal and South Asian countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, so on and also it is available worldwide. It was founded by Purushottam Kafle[2], along with fellow VS Niketan students and roommates Saugat Khadka, Suamn Rai, Madan Kafle, and Basanta Adhikari[3]

The founders initially limited this site only for their personal use and for their fellow roommates and members. Membership was expanded to other users slowly as the time passes and the instaspes become one of the favorite site in Kathmandu. Since 2017, anyone who claims to be at least 12 years old has been allowed to become a registered user of Instaspes, though this may vary depending on local laws or various countries laws. The name comes from the insta means fast or instant and spes [4][5]is local word called special or in roman called god of hope[6].

The Instaspes services like viewing user live music and posts can be accessed from logged devices and also the facilities can be accessed from devices with Internet connectivity, such as personal computers, tablets and smartphones. After registering, users can create a profile revealing information about themselves or user can customize that. They can post text, post music, post videos, post updates, photos and multimedia which is shared with any other users that have agreed to be their "following friend", or, with a different privacy setting, with any reader or follower. Instaspes claimed that it had more than 2.1 thousand monthly active users as of December 2018. The fast android web native application was published on Samsung Galaxy app store on September 2019.[7]

Technical terms[edit]

The website's primary color is green-blue or teal, a realization that occurred after a test undertaken around 2019. Instaspes is built in PHP, Javascript, and Java. Instaspes first primary color was white and black which was criticized for being copy of other site like instagram and later it was changed to teal or green-blue color.[8]

New architecture[edit]

User interface[9] with user interaction then, the system rolls these events up and writes them to storage. The user interface then pulls the data out and displays it to users. Instaspes handles requests as AJAX behavior this request are written in javascript and JSON. Data is then output in PHP format. The backend is written in Java. And user interface in web is in Javascript, HTML, CSS and so on.[10]

On early-2019 instaspes releases some theme for the site where user can select their respective primary theme colors and default is set to teal or green blue color. [9]

Instant messaging[edit]

Instant messages in instaspes is handled by the firebase real time database with NoSQL and after that it is saved in MySQL database for instant and secured operations on users data.

User Profile[edit]

User profile is created after every account created by user with their respective or custom username for by the default it is set to some half hashed codes or some randomly generated unique numbers.

Love Button/React Button[edit]

Love button in instaspes is countered in real time which means it can change immediately after user interaction on user posts or images.[9]

News feed[edit]

News feed appears on every user's homepage and highlights information including profile changes, upcoming events, online users, live updates and friends' birthdays. Initially, the News Feed caused dissatisfaction among Instaspes users that it was only ordered by the time the feed is updated or get published by the user but later the team of instaspes ordered the feed on the basic of user interaction, profile views, user satisfaction and so on.[11]

Privacy limited[edit]

According to the latest report from instaspes the privacy of instaspes is public or world, friends,and private. The user has own limitation on their content privacy[12].

Location[edit]

Office of Instaspes is home based located in Kathmandu, Nepal[13]. Previously the company was handled from room in Kathmandu and all the operations were based in there. Even though major operations are being handled from living room in Kathmandu, Nepal.[14]
