Inter IISER Sports Meet (IISM) is the annual sports tournament of the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs). IISM is an annual sports event organised by one of the IISERs in December. Along with the 7 IISERs, IISc, NISER and UM-DAE CEBS also take part in the event.[1] [2] The first IISM was started by IISER Kolkata in 2012. Over the years, IISM has turned into one of the big sports meets. This year (2023), the event will be held at IISER Thiruvananthapuram.[3] [4]

The proposition for an Inter IISER Sports Meet was brought up in 2012, and IISER Kolkata hosted the first ever Inter IISER Sports Meet. [5] [6] [7] [8]

The 10th IISM will be hosted by IISER Thiruvananthapuram. This edition will be held from 23rd-29th December, 2023.[9]
