The Internal Control Institute (abbreviated as ICI) is a business entity specialised in corporate governance and internal control.[1] Headquarters of The Internal Control Institute is in Clearwater, Florida.[2]

Internal Control Institute provides services to organizations to improve their level of internal and operational control activities within.[3][4] The Institute is capable of supplying via internal control assessment tools, professional training, and professional certification programs.[3][5]
Organisation of Internal Control Institute is consisting of their Board of Directors,[4] Key Advisors that is responsible of management activities[6] and Certification Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK) that is responsible of professional training and professional certification.[3]
Internal Control Institute brings professional education and certification programs.[3] The Institute is the authority to certify candidates who meet professional requirements and are qualifying through examination with certifications of Certified Internal Control Specialists (CICS), Certified Internal Control Professional (CICP).[3]

Internal Control Institute of Zimbabwe (ICIZ) is the authorized representative of the Internal Control Institute, in Zimbabwe.[10] ICIZ is autohrized by Internal Control Institute in 2016.[10] ICIZ hosted 3rd Internal Control Congress for Africa in 2017.[11]
