SOFSEM, the International Conference on Current Trends in Theory and Practice of Computer Science, is an academic conference established in 1974.[1][2] The conference is currently being held in three tracks focused on theoretical computer science, data science, and software engineering.[3]

Initially founded as a two-week Czechoslovak winter school in computer science, SOFSEM has been transformed to an international conference in 1993, with its proceedings being published by Springer since 1995.[4][5] The conference was traditionally held at various mountain resorts in Czech Republic and Slovakia. Since 2017, it travels around Europe.
