Ramallah in the 1970s, on the World Heritage List in Mauritius in 2006. It was initiated by semiologist Khal Torabully and Doudou Diene, ex-director of the Slave Route of UNESCO and finalized by B. Mukherjee, ex-ambassador of India at UNESCO.
