The International Productivity Monitor is an Open Access economics journal established in 2000 and published by the Centre for the Study of Living Standards in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The objective of the Monitor is to focus attention on the importance of productivity for improving living standards and quality of life through peer-reviewed articles on productivity issues, trends and developments in Canada and other countries[1]. The Monitor has been sourced for economic analyses by many government organizations, such as ISED[2], Global Affairs Canada[3], and Statistics Canada[4]. The main editor of the Monitor is Andrew Sharpe, founder of the Centre for the Study of Living Standards.
