The International School of Nice is an international school situated in Nice, France. It was established in 1977, and taken charge of by the French Riviera Chamber of Commerce in 1994.

Facilities[edit]

The purpose-built campus, situated on the western edge of Nice near the Airport and close to the A8 motorway, was constructed in 1987. Facilities include classrooms, laboratories, libraries, art rooms, a music room, a 300-seat capacity theatre, a gymnasium, a cafeteria, as well as all-weather sports playing fields and recreation areas.

Academic organisation[edit]

The school accepts students from age 4 to 18 years of age, in an American grading system from Pre-K to Grade 12. Students study to achieve an International Baccalaureate Diploma. The school is accredited by the European Council for International Schools and the Middle States Association of the United States (MSA).

Extra curricular activities[edit]

A wide range of extra-curricular activities are provided in the form of Music, Performing arts and Sport. The school regularly attends an international school sports day where students from other local international schools situated on the French Riviera compete. Other competing schools include Mougins School and the International school of Monaco.

Parent and student representation[edit]

A parent–teacher association assures social activities for parents and students alike. There are 3 student councils, each representing lower, middle, and high school students.
