Interstate 594 (I-594), formerly the Illinois Route 53/120 Extension, is a proposed expressway in Chicagoland that would run through Cook and Lake Counties. The expressway would connect between Illinois Route 53 to Illinois Route 120.[1] From there, it would continue eastward to Interstate 94 (Tri-State Tollway). Building the highway would affect the villages of Long Grove, Hawthorn Woods, Mundelein and Hainesville.
