Inure Is the fourth extended play by Icelandic musical project Low Roar released on May 18, 2020, through Tonequake Records.[1][2]
Production
The extended play was written by lead member Ryan Karazija while he was stuck inside his home in Warsaw, Poland, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Similarly to Low Roar's self-titled debut album, music production was fairly minimal, with Karazija sharing he had "nothing to record on at home except for my iPhone and my iPhone headphone mic."[3][1] It was announced on May 14, 2020, and released a few days later.[4]
Leading up to the release of Inure, Karazija stated online a fifth track he recorded wasn't going to show up on the official release, citing it was "too late to add a new song" while also posting corresponding lyrics. This song would later show up as the track "Fade Away" on the album maybe tomorrow..., released the following year.
