Inus Michael Kritzinger (born 13 May 1989) is a South African rugby union player, currently playing with the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]].[1] His regular position is scrum-half.

Career

Youth

He represented the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] at the 2005 Under-16 Grant Khomo week and Griffons Country Districts at the Under–18 Academy week competitions in both 2006 and 2007. In 2008, he played in the Under-19 Provincial Championship competition with the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] and the following year he was included in the Under-21 squad, but also had a short spell with the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] Under-21s. He returned to the Free State Under-21s for 2010.

Varsity Shield

He also played for university side the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] in the Varsity Shield competitions in 2011, 2012 and 2013. In 2011 and 2012, he was voted the "Back That Rocks"[2] and he was joint top try scorer in 2012 with 6 tries.[3] In 2013, he was voted the "Player That Rocks"[4] and he was the sole top try scorer with 8 tries.[5]

Griffons

In 2011, he joined the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] for their 2011 Currie Cup First Division season, making his debut against the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]][6] and his first start against the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]].[7]

He made four appearances for the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] in the 2012 Vodacom Cup – including two starts at fly-half – but returned to the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] for the 2012 Currie Cup First Division. He also played for the Griffons in the 2013 Vodacom Cup and 2013 Currie Cup First Division competitions and then signed a senior contract for 2014.[8]

Representative Rugby

In 2013, he was initially included in a South Africa President's XV squad to play in the 2013 IRB Tbilisi Cup,[9] but was omitted from the final squad.[10]
