iodé is a privacy focused smartphone running iodéOS, an Android-based operating system powered by LineageOS. iodéOS aims at protecting the user's privacy with a built-in adblocker and by freeing the smartphone from Google's snitches.[1]
Software
iodé uses MicroG as a free and open-source replacement for Google Play Services. iodé comes with its own adblocker that analyses in real-time data requests from apps and allows the user to see the identity of all recipients and the quantity of data they wish to collect, block unwanted recipients and measure how privacy-respectful its apps are.
