iodéOS is an Android-based privacy focused operating system powered by LineageOS. iodéOS aims at protecting the user's privacy with a built-in adblocker and by freeing the smartphone from Google's snitches.[1]
Software
iodéOS uses MicroG as a free and open-source replacement for Google Play Services. iodéOS comes with its own adblocker, that analyses internet data requests in real-time from apps and allows the user to see the identity of all recipients and the quantity of data they wish to collect, block unwanted recipients and measure how privacy-respectful his apps are.[2]
