Ion Göttlich is a fictional Italian cyclist created by Claudio Pavan who has gained a significant presence online.[2] Ion has been said to resemble the Incredible Hulk.[2] Posts on Ion's Social media typically include the animated character posing in photos with pro cyclists along with videos.

The German cycling team Bora–Hansgrohe lists Göttlich as a team member.[1] The Pan-European television sports network Eurosport committed him as a commentator for the tour.[3][4]
