Ipoh–Lumut Expressway (ILE, E19) is an expressway in Perak, Malaysia. However, the project was scrapped in 1998 due to the 1997 Asian financial crisis, and E19 was used by Sungai Besi-Ulu Klang Elevated Expressway.
Route background
This highway was actually Federal Route 5. It was then upgraded into a highway without tolls and with traffic light junctions and a few multi-level interchanges (e.g.: Diamond Interchange). But the traffic lights were fitted with remote sensing, thus reducing the time to travel from Ipoh to Lumut from 90 minutes to 30 minutes.
List of interchanges
This article contains a bulleted list or table of intersections which should be presented in a properly formatted junction table. (August 2022) |
