Isildurs Bane
From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki
Isildurs Bane is a progressive rock band from Halmstad, Sweden.
Origin of the name
Isildurs Bane is, both in the original English version and in the translated Swedish one, one of the several names of the One Ring in J. R. R. Tolkien's novel The Lord of the Rings. When the band was formed in 1976, there was a huge interest in the fantasy style in books, art and music, making it quite natural to choose a name associated with the kind of music they made.[1]
