Issac Power

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Issac William Power is an American football punter for the Baylor Bears.

Early Life[edit]

Power was born in Dearborn, Michigan, but grew up in Castle Rock, Colorado. He attended Ponderosa High School, where he later committed to play football for Baylor University. Power was ranked 5 stars by Chris Sailer Kicking[1], and was selected to play in the Army All-American Bowl game in San Antonio, Texas. He was the number 5 ranked punter in the country[2].

College Career[edit]

During his true freshman year at Baylor, Power punted once for 47 yards at the Texas Bowl against Vanderbilt. He was named the starting punter for his second season. He was named to the 2021 and 2021 Ray Guy Award watchlist, after having Ray Guy worthy performances on the field.[3]

In September of 2021, it was revealed that Power learned how to punt from[4] Youtube[5]. Along with his father, they would watch punting videos in order to help further his craft.

He graduated with his degree in Marketing from the Hankamer School of Business in December 2021[6].

Rather than declaring for the NFL Draft, Power decided that he was going to return for his fifth year at Baylor[7].

Personal Life[edit]

Power is married to fellow Baylor alum, Carolina Muñoz.[8][9]
