Istanbul Galata University (Script error: The function "langx" does not exist.) is a private foundation university located in Istanbul, Turkey. It was established in 2019 by the Bulut Education Foundation.[2] The university began its academic operations in 2020 and is based in several historic buildings in the Beyoğlu district. Its mission is to educate skilled individuals who can adapt to global changes and contribute to society.
As of 2024, Istanbul Galata University offers programs across 4 faculties, 1 vocational school, and a graduate institute.

Administration
The university is governed by the Board of Trustees, chaired by Nilüfer Bulut. The current rector is Şeyma Aydınoğlu.[1] Other members of the board include Hüseyin Hatemi, Laki Vingas, Kezban Hatemi, Şener Bulut, Ferhan Odabaşı, Toros Alcan, Ayşe Cevahir, and İshak İbrahimzadeh.[3]
Campus
The university operates in multiple buildings in Beyoğlu, including the Rectorate, Frej Apartment (Vocational School), and Piyalepaşa campuses.[4]
History
Istanbul Galata University was founded in 2019 by Bulut Education Foundation, with the aim of providing contemporary and innovative higher education in Turkey. The university officially started its educational activities in 2020.
