From a very young age, his mother and father were recognised singers in their churches. This is where he found the inspiration to dedicate his career to music. He also alleged in an interview that one of his uncles is a local DJ. He started making music when he was 14 years old. [1] At that time, the young J.A. Outlaw had moved to Kingston to attend Tarrant High school. After his graduation, he began to visit studios and record songs. The earliest production online, found on the social media platform YouTube, is dated 2011 for the song Señorita.
