Justin Robert Moore, professionally known as J.R. Moore, is an American country rock singer-songwriter from Memphis, Tennessee. He is currently a solo artist as well as singer and guitarist for the band Allen Mack Myers Moore (with Shinedown guitarist Zach Myers)[1][2][3] and the lead singer and guitarist for the band Ingram Hill.[4][5]

History[edit]

Moore is a co-founder and original member of the band Ingram Hill (formed in 2000).[6] His songs with Ingram Hill have been featured in multiple major motion pictures (13 Going On 30, Raising Helen, Herbie:Fully Loaded), and he has two Billboard Top 25 charting songs (Will I Ever Make It Home and Almost Perfect) with the band.[7][8] He has has toured nationally with Maroon 5, Zac Brown Band, Gavin DeGraw, Jason Mraz, Hanson and many more.[9]

In 2015, Moore signed an artist development and publishing deal with Jingle Punks Music, and in 2016, was featured with the rapper, Jelly Roll, on the Ratchet & Clank soundtrack.[10]

Moore released his first country album as a solo artist, titled Rocket, on November 30, 2018 which was co-produced by Lawrence Katz (Mighty Mighty Bosstones) and Matt Chambless (Ingram Hill).[11]

In 2020, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Moore performed a 1-hour Facebook livestream that became a weekly event known as the Monday Night Quancert Series (MNQS). One fan created a Facebook fan group known as the Bunchofjerks in January 2021. As of the second anniversary show on March 14, 2022, there had been 95 MNQS livestream shows.

In 2020 and again in 2021,[12][13] Moore went on tour with Smith & Myers, the acoustic side project of Brent Smith and Zach Myers of the American rock band Shinedown.
