J. Jesses Smith
J. Jesses Smith is an American music video director and film director and producer. He has worked extensively with 50 Cent, co-directing all of the videos from The Big 10 mixtape,[1] and co-producing 50 Cent's 2009 film Before I Self Destruct.
J. Jesses Smith also worked with The Wu-Tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, DMX, Lil' Kim, Jadakiss, Tupac Shakur and many others. He has produced and directed for television as well, like in BET's T&T Today. His directed a number of films, including notably the 2003 film Crime Partners.[2], I Do... I Did!,[3] the 2009 independent film The Gift and the in 2011, the long feature drama Breathe.[4] The film based on the true life story of Angela Burgin Logan was an official selection in the 2011 American Black Film Festival.[5]
