On May 3, 2024, an Embraer ERJ-145 of the charter airline JSX, operating flight 284, suffered a left gear collapse that damaged the plane's left wing. A crew member on board was injured.[1][2]

Incident[edit]
The accident occurred during the rollout after landing at William P. Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas, when the left main gear collapsed, according to the data the aircraft was at a relatively low speed during landing. The plane eventually came to a stop on the runway. Video footage that was taken shortly after the plane touched down shows the plane rolling and banking to the left.[3]
