Jack Bramswig (born August 17, 1992) is a professional football wide receiver for the Green Bay Blizzard of the Indoor Football League. He was born and raised, and currently resides, in Pleasantville, New York.

Early life[edit]

Jack attended Pleasantville High School in Pleasantville, New York where he was a 3-sport athlete. He excelled in all three sports during his tenure as a Panther. He became the only person in Pleasantville history to receive All-New York State honors in three different sports his senior year (2009–2010). Jack's senior year record combined was 44-9 (7-2 Football; 20-2 Basketball; 17-5 baseball). He was named the Pleasantville High School's Male Athlete of the Year.

Football[edit]

During the fall of 2009 Jack caught 24 passes for 11 touchdowns. Jack also led the team with 6 interceptions. Named 4th team All-State, All-Section, All-League and League B-1 player of the year.

Basketball[edit]

Just three weeks into the season (2009–2010) the Pleasantville boys basketball team was ranked #1 in New York state of all small schools. They possessed that top spot all season long, finishing with a 17-1 record. The panthers were the Section 1 Class B runner-up for the second year in a row.

Jack averaged 14.2 points per game, 10.8 rebounds per game, and 2.4 blocks per game. All of which led the team. He was named 2nd team All-State, All-Section, and All-League.

Baseball[edit]

The Panthers were the number 1 overall seed in the Section 1 Class B playoffs with a regular season record of 16-4.

In a total of 20 regular season games, Jack had a .447 batting average, with 6 Home Runs, and 34 Runs Batted In. Leading the team in each of the 3 categories.

College[edit]

Manhattanville College[edit]

Jack enrolled at Manhattanville College, in Purchase, NY, in the fall of 2010 as a double major in Childhood Education and History. Jack was a member of basketball team on campus. In addition, he was the president of the history club his senior year. Jack graduated from Manhattanville in May 2014.

Basketball[edit]

His senior year as a Valiant Jack was a MBWA All-Met second-team honoree. Also was named All-Freedom Conference first-team selection for the second straight year, making him only the second player in program history with back-to-back All-Conference first-team honors. He started all 26 games and played a team-best 32.8 minutes per game as a senior co-captain. The only player in the Freedom Conference to rank top-five in points and rebounds with team-best 15.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. Ranked second in the conference in both steals (a career-high 55) and blocks (a career-high 39) as well as third in field-goal percentage (52.1 percent), while his seven double-doubles were also second-best in the conference in 2014.[1]

He finished his career 19th in program history in points (1,163), second in blocks (111), sixth in rebounds (792) and seventh in steals (149)[1]

Track and Field[edit]

After not participating in Track and Field his first 3 years at Mahattanville he joined the team early in the outdoor season. He appeared at three meets and set a new school record and earned All-MAC first-team honors with a top length of 52.39 meters in the javelin to place second at the MAC Outdoor Championships. He also set a new school mark in the long jump at MACs, leaping 5.96 meters to place 11th overall.[2]

Boston College[edit]

Jack enrolled in Boston College's Woods School of Advancing Studies in the ensuing Fall. He attended the university to be part of the Boston College Football Team for the 2014 season. They finished the season 7–6, 4–4 in ACC play to finish in fourth place in the Atlantic Division. They were invited to the Pinstripe Bowl where they lost in overtime to Penn State. Jack was a wide receiver for the Eagles and an intrical part of their special teams.

Green Bay Blizzard[edit]

Jack signed with the Green Bay Blizzard on April 20, 2016. After just 3 games Jack recorded 14 catches for 175 yards and 3 touchdowns.[3] A fractured radius then sidelined Jack for the duration of the 2016 season.

He re-signed with the Blizzard for the 2017 season.
