Jack McAdoo (born November 15, 1961) is an American radio and television personality, producer, musician, author, actor, and photographer. He is best known for his radio show Real Talk Live! & Poker Pod Radio. The show was globally launched on internet radio from 2005 to the present. McAdoo has broadcast on Poker Pod Radio since 2006, and Real Talk Live! since 2009.

Personal[edit]

Jack was born in Homestead AFB, Florida and is the third child to CMSGT Donnell Wilson McAdoo of Medina, Tennessee, and Edna F Jardine of Hilo, Hawaii. He lived in Torrejón Air Base for two years. His family then moved to Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. In 1968 the family moved to Sembach Kaserne and returned to the United States to live in 1971.

Entertainment[edit]

While growing up in Hawaii he began a pursuit in the music industry by writing, performing, and recording. He would later move on to manage artists and promote concerts in the islands and mainland US. Locally he worked with Mackey Feary, Kalapana, and more. He moved to Los Angeles, California and worked in recording studios or on stage with the likes of Michael Jackson, Madonna, David Cassidy, Luther Vandross, and countless more that would earn him awards in engineering and producing.

Poker[edit]

McAdoo started playing poker in 1985 after learning the game from Daniel Negreanu while McAdoo was hosting the Vincent Lecavalier Celebrity Poker Tournament in Tampa, Florida. He created Poker Pod Radio to fill that foid for others looking for the same thing. He became the first podcast to be an event co-sponsor at the World Series of Poker with 888 Poker. McAdoo was also the co-creator and VP of Poker Pro Magazine.

McAdoo ran for Pinellas County Commissioner for District 4 inPinellas County, Florida as a Democrat but was defeated.[1][2][3][4]

Podcast and radio[edit]

The success of Poker Pod Radio led to the creation of Real Talk Live! a show that focused on Mindfulness, Spirituality, Health, and Motivation. The show focuses on interviews with experts in these fields. The show currently has millions of listeners worldwide as certified by Alexa Certified Web Statistics
